Sakarya Fire Department Chose the SMZ-20 Safety Air Cushion

The SMZ-20 Safety Air Cushion, a life-saving piece of equipment used in fire and emergency evacuations, is now part of the inventory of the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.

The SMZ-20 model, produced by Sönmeztent and certified with CE and ISO standards, continues to be the preferred choice of fire departments due to its impact-absorbing structure and rapid setup advantage in high-altitude evacuations. Following the procurement process, the Sakarya Fire Department conducted thorough testing to evaluate its on-site performance firsthand.

In the tests conducted, the SMZ-20 received high marks for its ability to be ready within seconds, its safe landing surface, and its structure resistant to high pressure. Fire department officials stated that this product will make evacuation operations safer and more efficient, especially in multi-story buildings.
