At Sönmez Tent, our journey began in 1997 in Istanbul, when we pioneered the first inflatable tent production in Turkey. By providing durable and practical tent solutions—particularly to municipalities and military units as well as various public institutions and private organizations—we quickly became a leading name in the industry.

Our company continuously expands its product range through R&D investments and also serves in the field of safety with the production of life-saving equipment such as safety air cushions and escape tunnels for high-rise evacuations. Our safety air cushions, which hold international certifications possessed by only a limited number of manufacturers globally, have become a benchmark in the industry by meeting the highest safety standards.

In response to the needs of public and private hospitals, we developed mobile medical tents for use as emergency intervention areas, temporary isolation units, and field clinics. These structures played a vital role during the pandemic, providing essential support in the continuity of healthcare services and continue to be actively used today.

Aligned with our innovative and sustainable production philosophy, we also offer specialized CBRN decontamination tents, designed for protection against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear threats. These tents provide secure and effective solutions in decontamination processes during extraordinary events such as chemical leaks, biological hazards, radiation exposure, and nuclear accidents—safeguarding both personnel and public health.

With the growing global interest in outdoor lifestyles post-pandemic, our Sönmez Outdoor brand was established under the Sönmez Tent umbrella. Featuring fire-retardant fabric technology, our inflatable tent models deliver exceptional comfort for camping, outdoor, and glamping experiences, and are designed to perform in extreme conditions ranging from -40°C to +70°C.

Given Turkey's location in an earthquake-prone region, we have leveraged our expertise in inflatable tent manufacturing to develop inflatable earthquake tents for emergency shelter needs. These structures, which can be set up in minutes, continue to provide safe and practical solutions both in Turkey and in international disaster zones.

Today, in addition to our main production facility in Istanbul, we operate through our offices in Frankfurt and New Jersey, reaching customers across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. We continue to grow through a robust network of distributors and local partners around the globe.

With the launch of our new 11,000 m² production facility in Çankırı Yakınkent Organized Industrial Zone, we aim to significantly increase our production capacity and expand our reach to more users.
